Nulla in Mundo Pax Sincera, RV.630 (세상에 참 평화 없어라)

안녕하세요 엘입니다.

 

비발디 노래를 처음 들었던것은 바로 이곡였습니다.

영화 "샤인"에 나오는 곡으로 이 작품의 첫번째 곡이었다죠.

파란 하늘을 배경으로 이노래를 들으면서 하늘을 향해 두팔벌린 주인공의 모습이 아직도 생각납니다.

(물론 알고보니 일명 "봉봉"을 뛰고 있던거라.....그 멋진 장면뒤에 저게 뭐야..를 외쳤다죠..-0-;;;)

 

그뒤로 바로크는 몰라...를 외쳤었지만 이노래는 참 좋아했다죠.

(이때 비발디님에게 필이 꽂힐꺼라고 예상을 해야했습니다...ㅠ.ㅠ)

 

 

Nulla in mundo pax sincera(RV 630) : 이 세상에 참 평화 없어라

 

비발디에 의해서 작곡된 이 모테트(Motate)는 저자를 알수 없는 라틴어 시에 곡을 붙인입니다.

마 장조(E major)의 이탈리아 바로크 전형적인 노래로, 소프라노 한명과 두대의 바이올린과 한대의 비올라와 통주저음(basso continuo, 낮은 음 역영으로 주로 첼로나 건반악기등이 맡는 파트라고 합니다)를 위한 악보가 존재한다고 합니다. 비발디 곡의 경우 특별히 통주저음을 오르간이 맡는 경우가 많은데 이노래에서도 같은 형식이 사용되고 있습니다. 노래 내용은 고난없는 세상에 참평화 없으리니 예수님과 함께하는 삶이야 말로 진정한 평화이다..정도랄까요...아하하..

이 곡은 아리아,서창(레시터티브),아리아의 세부분으로 구성되어있는데 끝에 할렐루야가 들어간다고 합니다.

 

Aria1. Nulla in mundo pax sincera sine felle; pura et vera, dulcis Jesu, est in te. Inter poenas et tormenta vivit anima contenta casti amoris sola spe. Recitative. Blando colore oculos mundus decepit at occulto vulnere corda conficit; fugiamus ridentem, vitemus sequentem, nam delicias ostentando arte secura vellet ludendo superare. Aria2. Spirat anguis inter flores et colores explicando tegit fel. Sed occulto factus ore homo demens in amore saepe lambit quasi mel. Alleluia.

Aria1. In this world there is no honest peace free from bitterness; pure and true peace, sweet Jesus, lies in Thee. Amidst punishment and torment lives the contented soul, chaste love its only hope. Recitative. This world deceives the eye by surface charms, but is corroded within by hidden wounds. Let us flee him who smiles, shun him who follows us, for by skilfully displaying its pleasures, this world overwhelms us by deceit. Aria2. The serpent’s hiss conceals its venom, as it uncoils itself among blossoms and beauty. But with a furtive touch of the lips, a man maddened by love will often kiss as if licking honey.
